Day 1: Leave Kigali for Akagera National Park 

Start your Rwanda tour to Akagera National Park with a morning breakfast. After, meet and greet your driver guide then transfer to Akagera. This will be 2 and half hours’ journey with an en-route excellent view of surrounding areas. Get to the park gate early to clear then connect to the lodge or go for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge of choice.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise in Akagera National Park

After breakfast in the morning, meet your guide for briefing then begin an early morning game drive. This will be done along the designated game tracks in Akagera National Park. In your 4×4 drive vehicle, expect to enjoy great sight of buffaloes, lions, elephants, leopards and rhinos. Other wildlife like zebras, giraffes, warthogs, antelope families and birds.

After 2-3 hours of a game drive, come back for a lunch break at your lodge. In the afternoon, you have a launch trip/boat cruise on Lake Ihema. This is one of the scenic Lakes in Akagera and while here, enjoy good sight of aquatic life. These include hippos, crocodiles as they bask on the shores, water birds including shoebills. Get back to the lodge after your memorable watersport to have dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Return to Kigali-enjoy Kigali city tour

Have a relaxed breakfast and followed by checking out from the lodge. After, return to Kigali with a game drive via the park.
