Day 1: Leave Kampala for Queen Elizabeth National Park

Leave Kampala after breakfast and briefing on your self-drive safari tour in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Your road trip covers 6 hours and you will follow the Masaka-Mbarara-Ishaka-Bushenyi route where you will have an en-route stopover at Uganda Equator crossing and another one at Agip Motel for lunch. On arrival, you will embark on an en-route game drive for you to see buffaloes, leopards, lions, warthogs, antelopes like bush bucks, topis, waterbucks; birds and if time allows, proceed to Katwe Crater for you see incredible birds like flamingos and explore the salt mining activity.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Your second will require you wake up early to have breakfast and later, leave your lodge for an early morning game drive for you spot out the elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs, antelopes such as waterbucks, Uganda kobs; warthogs, birds. Your morning game drive involves exploring Kasenyi Plains on the Northern side of Queen Elizabeth National Park and will cover approximately 3-4 hours.
Launch trip/boat cruise along Kazinga Channel will begin at 2:00 pm. Kazinga Channel links Lake Edward and Lake George. A boat cruise lets you sight at hippos, basking crocodiles, water birds such as malachite kingfishers, fish eagles, pelicans, bee-eaters to mention but a few.
